General Sortcut Keys

Shortcut keys help provide an easier and usually quicker method of navigating and executing commands in computer software programs. Shortcut keys are commonly accessed by using the Alt key
  1. View desktop/Minimize all windows
    Windows + D
  2. Run Tasks
    Windows + R
  3. Shift + F10
    Right Click
  4. Select all
    Ctrl + A
  5. Cut Files
    Ctrl + X
  6. Copy Files or Directory
    Ctrl + C or Ctrl + Insert
  7. Paste/Move
    Ctrl + V or Shift + Insert
  8. Save File
    Ctrl + S
  9. Open Saved File
    Ctrl + O
  10. New... File, Tab, Entry, etc.
    Ctrl + N
  11. Undo
    Ctrl + Z
  12. Find...
    Ctrl + F
  13. Print
    Ctrl + P
  14. Close the current window 
    Ctrl+W
  15. Close all Active WIndow
    Alt + F4
  16. Lock Windows Screen
    Windows + L
  17. Task Manager
    Ctrl + Alt + Delete
  18. Open help
    F1
  19. Activate menu bar
    Alt or F10
  20. Toggle full screen mode
    F11
  21. Display system menu. Same as clicking the icon on the titlebar

  22. Remove focus from current control/menu, or close dialog box
